Give it to ’em

One person—and one day—can make all the difference. Joining the conversation of this year’s #GivingTuesday, we at 50,000feet are proud to lend our voice to the missions of three incredible community-based nonprofits, with whom we have enjoyed the honor of long-time partnership.

This year marks our fourth as founding sponsor of the Chicago Design Museum, and we continue to be amazed by the inventive exhibitions that the team at ChiDM pull off season after season. ChiDM has demonstrated how powerful a role design plays in our culture. Give to their annual fund drive by December 31, and we’ll match up to $10,000.

Promoting global health around the world, Peace Care is another great cause worth supporting. Peace Care is a nonprofit that bring groups of people together in innovative ways to strengthen health systems in low-resource settings worldwide. We have been a proud partner since the organization’s early days, developing Peace Care’s identity and helping share its story.

The mission of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is to advance new research and therapies for neuromuscular diseases. The MDA represents a dedicated collaboration between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering the 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect more than one million Americans. The organization supports more research on these diseases than any other private-sector organization in the world, which is all the more reason to give.

At 50,000feet, we believe we’re only as good as the friends we keep. ChiDM, Peace Care and the MDA are infinite sources of inspiration because they build community and take action to create a better world. Please consider supporting these organizations today and in the year ahead.
